Inspired by Yaron Leshem’s fixation on dreams and art with a dreamlike quality, Leshem Loft offers “scene” shoots for portraiture, which are entirely imaginative and filled with personal detail. Hundreds of images are taken, with anywhere from 50-100 woven together at the artist’s discretion. The outcome of this is one beautiful, large-scale print, where you and your group (family members, friends, office-mates) are a part of the final art piece. Subjects as well as personal items, ephemeral objects, locations and actions are photographed separately, captured with the intent of creating a conceptual collage. Once the images are culled, surprising, engaging moments come together as completed scenes of portraits unlike anything you may have seen before. This is the beauty of collaborating directly with the artist to create a one-of-a-kind portrait.
